My - Yes, MY - forsythia - that I picked out, planted & watered all by myself - has little buds on it!
What a beautiful weekend. I'll continue with pictures for the next few days.

But for tonight, I'm share the first picnic of the season.

After a day of raking and picking up sticks, while Audrey was sleeping, we enjoyed the first watermelon of the season, with some iced tea and lots of sunshine.
