It's not for lack of Wanting to post, really it wasn't. I've finished this post many times in my head, just never set aside the full time that it takes to accomplish this.
We had a great summer. I went back to work, the kids started a new daycare, we moved & settled quickly into our new home, Nathaniel became completely potty trained, Dan has been playing music non-stop, we've had amazing family time and even managed to fit in a few dates to concerts and movies. Audrey is now rolling all over the place and laughing from the deepest of belly parts.
Here's a picture view of what we've been up to the past 2 months
We hooked up with an old friend
Grew bigger:
Enjoyed Saturday morning cartoons (you know, a screwdriver is a Must for cartoon watching):
Played in messy but fun rooms:
Started Pre-School:
Celebrated Nathaniel's 3rd Birthday:
Audrey grew some more:
Nathaniel discovered the inside of an acorn, he was fascinated by it
Audrey got a bumbo.
It's so fun to watch her tiny body sitting up. She's almost figure out how to worm her way out of it
Papa's Pumpkins were delivered:
We had Nathaniel's birthday party:
He got great gifts this year - books, truck bedding, puzzles & games, snowsuit, walkie talkies and more:
We had to provide a family picture for school, this is the best we got on very last minute notice.
Or maybe I was just last minute in remembering we had to do it:
Nathaniel's version of seeing Daddy play band:
He couldn't wait for a rainy day, he was so excited about his new rain coat, he had to wear it to school:
We went to the fair.
MOO!
We watched the pig races and cheered for Pig #3 (he didn't win)
Then we hit the rides:
his first roller coaster
We went to Dan's company picnic.
We made tie-dye shirts, got faces painted, went for a walk on the beach, ate lobster steamers & clam chowder, blew bubbles and more!
I was able to sneak out & see the band at a new club
It was a great girls night of dancing & fun. Marla attempted to get through a fish bowl drink.
Before & after:
Lazy Sundays by far became our most favorite day of the week
i love my new shelf and i LOVE etsy.com
We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary
us in 2000
us in 2008 (bad shot but we have a 3 yr old photographer, what can i say?!)
Saturday's are now Soccer Saturdays
Believe me, it's not all fun & games. We do chores too:
He always wants to play with Audrey. Here, he's giving her a laid back ride in his car that he made.
after he filled Daddy in on his day, of course:
Some after dinner randoms
Correct me if I'm wrong, I do believe he's pulling her ear, causing the sour look on her face???
I love his preschool but was a little shocked that his work is already being corrected. At least it's not red ink!
Didn't you know?? When you ride your scooter in the house, you MUST wear a helmet and rain boots!!
Our new house has a wooded back yard. It's the best play area for a 3 year old, if I've ever seen one
it's great for older boys too who still like to play king of the mountain
Hide & Seek is one of the more popular games these days
Even Audrey is getting good at it
It's great for leaf collecting
I feel the need to expalin the MAINE sweatshirts. We bought them up in York last summer. If on the weekends, Nathaniel wears his, he insists that we wear ours too, so we play along. He's corny like that.
Audrey is getting big fast. She's probably 13-14 pounds now and is transitioning into 3-6 month clothes. She just dealt with her first ear infection with some difficulty dealing with meds. She's back 100% and is rockin & rollin, happier than ever.
That's it for now. Believe it or not, I have more pics to share but my ME time is running out.
Comment please - are these pictures too big for your screen? I'm playing around with the size of all of this
