it's not always good times

Very disturbing news today,

the engine in my car is dead. needs replacement. will never run again.

This was supposed to be my forever car. I really only drive locally, so the high mileage I took over from Dan driving it was no big deal.

I'm at a loss as to what to do now?

Someday, when I'm in a more jovial mood, maybe I'll post about the five hours I spent today waiting for AAA to help me.

I was talking to Dan about coloring my hair.

Nathaniel brought me his craft box and said "here mom, now you have crayons so you can color your hair."

Birthday Nutcracker

A bunch of us went to Boston Sunday for the Nutcracker Ballet. It was a wonderful time.

Who would've thought they'd added so much comedy to the ballet?!
